Samantha Akkineni as of late celebrated her birthday and as a birthday treat, she got the opportunity to watch hubby Naga Chaitanya’s 19th project Love Story, in which Premam fame Sai Pallavi plays his lady love. Recently, there was a buzz that Naga Chaitanya and other cast has wrapped up the shooting of the film.
According to the reports, Samantha viewed the 80% unedited film without music and remarked that Sai Pallavi apparently dominated in the film and she was disheartened.
While some felt that she commended the Maari 2 star, meanwhile Shekhar Kammula who directed the film was in utter dismay to figure out whether Samantha feels that the role of her hubby has been diminished or she just didn’t like Nagachaitanya’s costar Sai Pallavi’s role.
Despite the fact that sources close to Samantha Akkineni have rubbished these reports and said that she has neither watched nor remarked on it, rumours are rife that she watched it on the occasion of her birthday.
Sam and Chai who are conspicuously in lockdown mode seem to be simply appreciating each other’s presence and somebody’s creative mind has truly gone crazy to cook up such stories says some little birdie. They also said she is not a kind of person who meddles in other’s projects, say the sources from the Tollywood.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have acted together in films like Majili and Manam and had a brief gap since they were paired up.
On the other hand, Samantha Akkineni was gearing up for the shooting of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the prominent roles.
The film will be helmed by Nayanthara’s companion Vignesh Shivn. Inside sources disclosed that she has been approached by the legendary director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao to act in the popular Carnatic singer Nagarathnamma’s biopic.
