‘We don’t want your 1 crore – Close LG Polymers and we will give 2 Crores’

It is known that there was a protest by the villagers outside the LG Polymers factory who were suffered in the gas leak from the same company which is situated near the Vizag city. They demanded the government to move the company from their premises.

On the other side, the AP government who understood the gravity of the situation announced Rs.1 crore ex-gratia for the families of those who lost their lives in the gas leak. The opposition also stunned with this huge announcement but much to a shock to Jagan’s government, the victims reacted quite unexpectedly.

One mother wants his dad child instead of Rs. 1 crore while the other says that they don’t want Rs. 1 crore and all they want is the shut down of the company indefinitely. She added that all the villagers will collect funds and will give the government Rs.2 crores in return to do so.

Speaking about the government offering a job in the same company to one person in the victim’s families, they questioned, “this company doesn’t have an ambulance for emergency cases and how can we risk our lives by joining in that company?” It has become very hard for the police to control the mob and the government needs to bring a conclusion as soon as possible.
