The situation in India is becoming complicated from day to day and especially after the relaxations that were given under lockdown 3.0, everything seems insignificant. The people are going on roads at their will and very few of them are following the lockdown rules. The number of positive cases in the country is reaching 70,000 and yet most of the citizens aren’t taking the virus threat seriously.
After the relaxations were given, almost all people in the green and orange zones are not following social distance. Masks are the least visible and mobs are surrounding the wine shops without any control. Now, the central government is getting information regularly from the intelligence bureau about the condition of the COVID-19 spread.
After the wine shops are permitted to open, there is a significant increase in the threat of the COVID-19 transmission and the danger alarms are ringing. Hence, the center has already announced that if they find out that the cases in a particular state increased due to the uncontrollable wine sales, they will cancel the relaxation to that state without any second thought.
Now, it is being speculated that Modi is planning to conduct a press meet to warn all the state governments to look after their citizens to follow the safety norms and their failure will lead to the loss of relaxations to the particular state.
It is because every state is selling liquor in an uncontrollable way taking the safety of the public for granted and the center us taking blame for giving relaxations. So, Modi finally realized that this is not fair and the governments should be responsible to look after the citizens of their own state.
