Neha Sharma opens up about her journey being an outsider in B town

As of late, in a recent interview held on insta live chat with the extremely glamorous and underrated glam doll Neha Sharma, where she pensively addressed each one of the inquiries about her new web series, films and journey so far in Bollywood to OTT platform.

She shed light on how she has made the best of the opportunities that have been offered to her as an outsider in the business. Firstly, when questioned about how she was spending the quarantine time, she replied by saying that she was taking care of her skin, hair, learning cooking and honing skills in painting.

In a candid conversation, she explained about landing on an unexpected opportunity to star in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Neha Sharma said, “See, I’m not from the film business or neither do I have any family background, I’m an outsider and that’s never going to change. So, we really don’t receive many opportunities to us to feature in such wonderful roles.” she said.

Vicky Sadanha, the casting director of Tanhaji film had approached me for the role. Obviously, the main cast is always pre-decided and these people (casting directors) are on board to suggest the producer and Director that they visualise a Particular person in the required roles. Fortunately, Vicky was casting for this one, and they were looking for a typical gorgeous features of a girl for the role of Kamla Devi. So I met Om (Raut), the Director of the film, and he felt like I would fit the bill and then it pulled off.

She added saying that you have a minimal choice to opt from the roles offered to you. On the off chance, you can also make your own films or act in the picture that you create. On the contrary, you can only pick from what is given to us. So, from whatever that has been offered, I’ve picked the best ones and I hope that with more work gravitating towards me, I get to do more impressive work.
