State government permits automobile and AC showrooms’ operations from today

Air conditioned showrooms, vehicle and automobile sparepart shops across Telangana will remain functional from Saturday as the State government eased lockdown limitations on them. The enrollment and RTA workplaces will continue to operate, announced the state government.

Permit will be given only on particular days of a week and with specific timings, which run along with street transport association workplaces, which were earlier allowed by the administration. The rest of the lockdown extension will proceed after careful analysis on present scenario, said a statement from Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao office.

Owing to the global crisis, he requested that authorities send individuals arriving in Hyderabad back to their native by buses directly from the air terminal.

Yesterday at Pragathi bhavan, during a survey meeting on the status of the rate of Coronavirus Spread in the State, the Chief Minister said that apart from four zones in Hyderabad — Charminar, Karwan, LB Nagar and Malakpet — no new instances of Covid-19 have been accounted for from any area of the capital or the other parts of the State. “Every single positive case are from these four zones, where there are around 1, 442 families. In spite of the fact that migrant workers from Yadadri, Jangaon and Mancherial had tried positive, the occupants of the locale had not succumbed to the disease.

He said, Indeed those vagrant laborers are under treatment in Hyderabad. This implies the three areas are free from positive cases. He instructed the officials to conduct tests on the migrant labour reaching here by trains and send people from other states to their respective states.
