Earlier Dr. Sudhakar’s issue in AP caused quite a stir all over the nation, now another Doctor Anita Rani controversy is turning violent. There is a verbal battle rising up between the ruling and the opposition parties on this issue. TDP leaders blamed that YCP leaders are harassing Dalit doctors and been careless about the issue with ulterior motives.
Dr Anita Rani earlier made sensational comments that Deputy CM and YSR party leader Narayana Swamy is harassing her to remain tight lipped for exposing the injustice happening in the hospital by claiming that illegal abortions occurred. However, he rubbished such allegations recently in an interview.
He threw a challenge to the TDP leaders in this regard that he would resign from his post if proven to be unfair in Anita Rani’s case. Narayana Swamy says that Chandrababu is politicising the issue by maligning the Dalits. He questioned when he himself is a Dalit why would he do injustice to the doctor in the first place.
“The task for Chandrababu is to always do mudslinging and do caste politics. The real facts emerge after the CID investigation into the case of Dr Anita Rani. If I found to commit a mistake I will permanently withdraw from politics. Will Chandrababu stay out of politics forever if the allegations against me are not proved?”, he fired.
CM Jagan has already probed a CID inquiry into the matter. But Dr Anita Rani did not agree to the CID investigation and demands that the issue be handed over to the CBI.
