With the YSRCP government led by CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy going aggressively against the TDP leaders involved in various irregularities and scams, they are now looking up to the Narendra Modi government at the Centre to protect them.
It was evident from the way senior TDP leader and former Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy has reacted on the arrest of his brother and former Tadipatri MLA J C Prabhakar Reddy and nephew J C Asmith Reddy by the police in connection with the transport scam.
“There is no way one can control Jagan. He doesn’t listen to even Jesus Christ. Nobody can rein him in. He has crossed all the limits. The only option is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is the only man who can control Jagan. Otherwise, the courts have to come to our rescue,” Diwakar Reddy said.
He said though there were several good officers working in the government, their words do not prevail before Jagan.
“He doesn’t listen to even his party MLAs and ministers. Even chief secretary is helpless as Jagan doesn’t care for her advices. He is all powerful. He is the Allah, He is Jesus and He is Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala. He doesn’t want anybody in the opposition to raise his voice against him,” the former MP said.
Stating that he would not take up any agitations in protest against his brother’s arrest, Diwakar Reddy said whether anybody would believe or not, he was not aware of how many buses or lorries his transport company owned.
“He has already disrobed me on the streets and cut off all my financial roots. There is no surprise if he gets me arrested soon,” the former MP said.
