It is known that ACB officials jumped through Atchannaidu’s house gates to arrest the MLA like he was fleeing from the country. Now, the enthusiasm and the eagerness that the Jagan’s government has shown in Atchannaidu’s arrest is going to wind up to their own neck.
As per ACB, Ramesh Kumar is one of the major culprits in this ESI scam, and now his wife, Smitha Rani filed a petition in the AP high court regarding her husband’s arrest. She said that her husband was taken into custody without any investigation or notices and said that his arrest happened in an illegal way.
The advocate from her side, V Krishnaiah filed a house motion petition in the court seeking the probe of CBI into the entire scam. Now, we all know the recent history of Jagan Mohan with the high court and the way Atchannaidu was nabbed is just dubious.
There are no reports of Atchannaidu getting notices from the ACB asking him to come over for any investigation and a person who is aged 60 plus and has undergone a surgery very recently with all types of privileges being an MLA was hurriedly arrested by the ACB.
Now, some analysts say that Atchannaidu may get away with this scam if the high court questions the report of the preliminary investigation in the presence of the suspects and the need for arresting him in this Lockdown period without issuing any notices in prior.
The TDP cadre believes that the high court will question the government about the contradictory benefits in Atchannaidu’s case and the ACB may find tough questions for a possible conflict of interest when Smith Rani’s petition was taken seriously.
