The Bollywood’s bold beauty, Priyanka Chopra, who has carved a niche in the Bollywood industry spanning for two decades, rose to international fame with a Hollywood Tv series ‘Quantico’ In 2015. The actress has now clinched a two-year multimillion dollar first-look television contract with OTT platform, Amazon, adding one more feather to her hat.
Speaking about the wonderful offer, she said “My quest really is to be able to tell female stories, work with creators from around the world and create a cross-pollination of storytelling.”
She further included that Amazon has immense global outreach and is good at paving way to innovative story telling. Since the television deal has global reach, she was more than willing to work in Hindi, English or any language that she desired.
Priyanka thanked Jennifer Salke, the Amazon studios head and Amazon team members for having her on board. The actress also shared that she was honoured and excited to be part of the deal and went onto express about this offer on Instagram.
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas turns out as a producer for an upcoming venture called ‘Sheela’, with Amazon. The premise is based on the Netflix docu-series “Wild Wild Country.” She’ll feature as Ma Anand Sheela, an assistant to guru Bhagwan Rajneesh (AKA Osho).
The actor is currently gearing up for Warner Bros.’ “The Matrix 4,” which recommenced its filming process recently after the pandemic.
