It has been revealed in Hyderabad and now in Tirupati. It has become common all over Andhra Pradesh these days. The COVID suspects giving false information and details about themselves when they came for COVID confirmatory tests or when they were taken forcibly for testing. The officials of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh were left in quandary with as many as 232 patients went missing after they tested positive for Covid-19.
Many of these 232 provided invalid contact number and the others have provided the wrong address. According to the official sources, at least 20 such cases are being evolved in every district which is nothing but an alarming factor that the government should look into.
These people who are afraid of Isolation or quarantine are happening to be the super spreaders in our society. These people are being exposed after they were found positive for Covid-19 and when they were tried to contact and bring them to isolation by the officials, they are not getting any response as they are either switched off or provided wrong numbers.
This is the case in many districts and fortunately, the numbers in Tirupati are being revealed while it is the other way around in the rest of the state. In most cases, while giving a sample for a swab test, most of the people are being identified falsely even provision of Aadhar Card has been mandatory for this process.
So, it is the responsibility of the government to find the missing persons thereby protecting the healthy people who are at risk as well as to make sure that the suspected persons shall provide genuine details.
