After confining himself to the four walls of his fortress bungalow in posh Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad for a long time, TDP president and former CM of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu is likely to be back in his river-front residence in Amaravati.
According to party sources, Naidu is leaving for Vijayawada on Wednesday and take part in the party activities directly.
The last time Naidu was in Andhra Pradesh was for a couple of days in the last week of May for holding Mahanadu on a low key, before returning to Hyderabad again on the pretext of Coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier, too, Naidu had been away from Andhra since March when the lockdown was imposed.
The party leaders said then that since he is around 70 years, he is not supposed to move in public. Moreover, there were restrictions on inter-state movement of people in AP then and one had to be in institutional quarantine for two weeks.
Now, party sources say, Naidu will be actively taking part in the party activities, if not going into people directly because of the pandemic.
Though he had been interacting with the party leaders through virtual conferences all these days, the TDP chief will now be in touch with them directly.
It remains to be seen how long he will remain in Amaravati or whether it is going to be yet another short visit for him.
