At present, the YSR Congress Party is one of the biggest regional parties in the country which enjoys a unanimous majority in the state and holds good ground in the parliament as well. The Chief of this party, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been facing too many allegations from the state people as well as from the own party leaders about his controversial decisions and mismanagement in the party’s internal affairs over a certain period of time.
It seems like Jagan is too stressed out to handle too many things at a time. Now, the news in YSRCP is that Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is acting as a Shadow Chief Minister of the state. Many YSRCP local leaders who wanted to meet YS Jagan are being compromised with Sajjala and the latter himself, reportedly, is compromising all internal problems by himself without forwarding the issue to the AP CM.
After the recent Guntur incident came to light, the leaders are making public comments on this matter. A serious dispute is going on between an MP and MLA in Guntur. In fact, it is not much a political issue but an internal matter. Already an MP has lodged a complaint against all the MLAs. He said that he was being deprived of his freedom, that he had to fix it, that they had already tried twice to attack his car.
The MP had filed his complaint at Sajjala. However, the above-mentioned issue is still not resolved and the appropriate action is taken after the MLA complains. Meanwhile, the leaders in Prakash are at loggerheads over the issue of the two constituencies. Complaints are pouring in that Madasu Venkaiah, the in-charge in Kondapi is not working properly. At the same time, Chaitanya, the son of Chenchu Garataya in the Addanki, also said that no one cared about him.
Many such issues are being referred to Sajjala from all parts of the state and the word is out that he trying is best to compromise, resolve or minimize the intensity of the issues. However, one clan of the party says that this key leader is warning the local leaders that they will be replaced by the defected party members from the other party if they fail to maintain unity. Though Sajjala might be sharing the burden of YS Jagan, he has been criticized by one section of the people. This is how the world goes it seems.
