AP CM Jagan Mohan who has been in a state of bother to run the administration of the state under the huge debts and lack of support from the centre and facing severe heat from the High Court has decided to resume the distribution of the house lands documents to the poor on an auspicious occasion.
It is known that the opposition is very much intending to put pressure on Jagan for distributing the lands that are not suitable for living. However, Jagan who has been ambitious towards this process despite the massive blow back he faces from many quarters of the state has once again fixed a date for the process, which has been delayed for nearly six months.
The AP government’s ambitious housing distribution program is set to begin on December 25 during the Christmas festivities. The process of distribution of house deeds will begin everywhere except in the areas where the High Court issued a stay. Those who are eligible will be given a de-form document on December 25 and will be allotted a house.
Jagan’s government has identified 3068281 beneficiaries across the state. All of them will be given rails on Christmas day and the construction of houses will start on the same day. In the first phase, 15 lakh houses will be constructed. Houses will be registered in the name of women.
