Monal Gajjar has attained a lot of attention with her stint in Telugu Bigg Boss house season 4. Her track with Akhil, while it lasted, was one of the main highlights of this year’s Bigg Boss.
Speaking about her future projects, Monal said she received an interesting offer after exiting the Bigg Boss house and she is very much looking forward for the same.
When asked why she left South Indian film industry after scoring a big with Sudigadu and acting in four other movies, Monal gave an interesting reply.
“I was in a serious relationship with a Malayali actor and things did not end well between us. I went through a really bad break up. I did not want to act in South Indian films to get over the break up and in the meanwhile okayed a few Gujarati films,” she said.
Going by Monal’s comment, it seems to be that she stayed away from South cinema after going through a bad break up. We don’t often see radical decisions like this but it was Monal’s choice to make nevertheless.
