Rajinikanth who has been teasing his fans about his entry into electoral politics finally gave good news for his fans after many twists and turns over his foray into active politics.
First, he said, he will not enter politics. With his fans and fan clubs requested their idol to re-think about his decision, he said he will enter the electoral politics and make a formal announcement on his party on the 31st of December.
With just days left for the much-awaited announcement from Thalaivar, Tamil Nadu media claimed that Rajini will make the crucial announcement on the 17th of January which marks the birthday of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MGR.
It is also said that he will make the announcement from the temple town Madurai which is very close to MGR. The announcement is said to take place at a famous temple.
These reports came days after Rajinikanth announced that he will take forward the legacy of MGR.
The temple city Madurai is special for Tamil Nadu for many reasons. It is the birthplace of MGR and he even tried to make it the second capital of Tamil Nadu.
