Netizens react vehemently on BBC’s docuseries about late Jiah Khan!

Popular news channel BBC has released a a three-part investigative docuseries titled Death in Bollywood’ exclusively in UK that features late actor Jiah Khan’s death. The series has three episodes under an hour. The first episode was out on 11 January succeeded by the next two episodes over the next two days. It is learnt that the actress was raised and educated in London and hence the special care was taken to release first in UK.

Jiah made her maiden entry with Ram Gopal Varma‘s ‘Nishabd’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Then she was seen in supporting characters in films like Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini and Akshay Kumar-starrer Housefull.

The actress was found dead mysteriously in her Mumbai apartment in 2013. The death was later dismissed as suicide by Mumbai Police and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In 2018, a court in Mumbai charged Sooraj Pancholi with abetting Khan’s suicide.

The docuseries addresses the actress’ sudden demise case about various theories that arised during the investigation. It focuses Jiah’s mother’s struggle for justice, few unsolved questions and also stars the Pancholi’s.

But netizens on twitter reacted vehemently after watching it. Few lashed out at Sooraj Pancholi for being the main culprit behind her death, few called Bollywood an evil mafia while few bore comparison with late Sushanth Singh Rajput case.

One twitterati wrote, “I am truly shocked that #SoorajPancholi and #adityapancholi agreed to be interviewed for #DeathInBollywood because they do NOT come out of it well.”

Another user wrote that her case was mirroring Sushanth Singh’s demise.
