Former AIADMK leader and close aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, VK Sasikala, popularly known as Chinnamma who is serving a jail term in a corruption case was admitted to a hospital earlier this week after her health worsened.
Clearing all the airs on the rumors on Sasikala’s health condition, the hospital authorities of Victoria Hospital said her health is stable and she is doing ok now, media reports claimed.
In the health bulletin issued by the Victoria Hospital, the authorities said that her symptoms have reduced and Sasikala’s health condition is stable now and there is no need to worry about her.
It is also said that she is doing fine now and has been walking with support. She is taking oral food normally, which is a good sign of progress. She is expected to get discharged from the hospital.
The doctors are closely monitoring Sasikala. She is currently in the ICU facility of the Victoria hospital, media reports claimed.
Sasikala who was facing a jail sentence was shifted to the Bowring and Lady Curzon Medical College and Research Institute after she fell seriously ill. Later she was rushed to Victoria hospital.
