YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju is one person who is constantly making some or the other statements with the media, against his own party. For this, the MP has faced severe consequences from his own party members, but nevertheless, he continues to speak his mind no matter what.
Speaking to the media recently, RRR said that he was supposed to have gotten a grand welcome to Narasapuram by his followers, but his trip had to be postponed as he got an intelligence report stating that the local police were ready to arrest him as soon as he stepped foot into Narasapuram.
Local minister Ranganath Raju and YSRC in-charge of East and West Godavari districts Y V Subba Reddy have reportedly asked the local DIG of police to arrest RRR under the grounds of SC/ST atrocities, very similarly to how ex-TDP MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy was arrested and taken to jail, where he contracted Coronavirus. RRR said that it was the plan of Subba Reddy and Raju, for RRR to contract Coronavirus in jail.
RRR said that Reddy and Raju were trying to get back at him because he complained to the collector about Raju’s corrupt practices in the house sites’ allotment and to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Subba Reddy on the marsh lands issue in Rajahmundry.
RRR said that he tried to contact the Chief Minsiter, Jagan Mohan Reddy, about the issue, but said that the Chief Minsiter did not have any time to talk to his own MP.
