Ruling TRS reaches out to State Chief Electoral Officer to take action against Bandi Sanjay!

Tension gripped Telangana’s Bhainsa city after communal violence broke last week. The Police swung into action and not less than 13 people, including two councilors, have been booked by the cops in connection with the violence, media reports claimed.

The Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) targeted the TRS and AIMIM over the violence. In his media briefings and social media posts, BJP leaders like state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar and MP Dharmapuri Arvind are alleging that the ruling TRS is safeguarding the AIMIM over the issue.

In his tweets, Bandi Sanjay alleged that no one from the Telangana government visited Bhainsa victims and the government is doing vote bank politics by safeguarding a particular community.

This did not go well with the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party. The party leaders requested the State Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goel to take strict action against Bandi Sanjay Kumar for posting alleged inflammatory content on social media.

TRS General Secretaries Bharat Kumar and Srinivas Reddy reportedly requested the Electoral Officer to take action against the state chief and alleged that Sanjay is making these posts to gain political mileage for the forthcoming Graduate elections.

Alleging that Bandi Sanjay Kumar is making inflammatory posts by targeting a community to create communal issues, the ruling TRS leaders sought police action against the BJP leader.

The TRS leaders have targeted the BJP over their Ram Mandir promise. Talking about the Yadadri temple, the leader duo said under CM KCR’s ruling, the state government has constructed the temple in just three years.

If BJP has to construct the same temple, it will take nearly 15 years because all the party wants to gain political mileage by doing politics in the name of God. They are using God for politics, they said.
