KA Paul to go on an indefinite fast for VSP and farmers

KA Paul is a renowned Evangelist, and a politician as well, who founded the Praja Shanthi Party. It has been revealed that KA Paul will be going on an indefinite fast in New Delhi, against the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant, and against the farm laws that the Central Government has introduced, which he says will do more bad to the farmers than good.

He met with the farmers’ leader and Bharatiya Kisan Sangh convenor Rakesh Tikait in New Delhi and discussed with him the severity and the repercussions if these laws were put into effect by the centre.

Paul also filed a case in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, against the Central Government’s decision to privatise the steel plant, and said that the centre is not only trying to sell public sector undertakings but the public themselves.

Paul said that he will not back down until the government decides to take back its plan of privatising the steel plant and repealing the farm laws.
