From the past few days, the news of reviving ‘ICON’ has been doing rounds across the internet. As you might have known, stylish star Allu Arjun was supposed to work under Dil Raju’s production for a film titled ‘ICON’ which was written and directed by Venu Sriram. It was announced long before ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ and it was expected to go on floors last year.
But the project never took off due to unknown reasons. But there are a lot of rumours popping up about the revival of this project. Director Venu Sriram is currently in the news as he is giving interviews and promoting ‘Vakeel Saab’ which is releasing on April 9th. There are a few who claim that it is a promotional strategy to make Venu Sriram popular just before the release of ‘Vakeel Saab’ which in turn works as a promotion of the film.
But it is a Pawan Kalyan film and it doesn’t need such kind of promotions. The stardom of Pawan is more than enough to bring the audience into the theatres in large numbers. ‘Vakeel Saab’ is a Telugu remake of Hindi film ‘Pink’. The makers added a romantic track for Pawan and included Shruti Hassan’s character. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya are playing key roles in this flick.
