For a long time now, there were speculations around Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Hindi project. If the latest buzz is believed, the actor has reportedly been offered to play the role of Lord Ram in the pan-India film ‘Ramayana 3D’.
Producer Madhu Mantena backs the movie, which is the adaption of the epic Ramayana. The producer discussed with Mahesh regarding the project and is waiting f\95or a nod from the actor. As per reports, Hrithik Roshan was initially approached for this role, but now the makers are considering Mahesh Babu. Deepika Padukone could be roped in to play Sita.
Meanwhile, the makers have wrapped up the script work and the details about the cast and the crew will be out soon. It is worth mentioning that Pan-India star Prabhas is currently playing Lord Rama in Om Raut’s Adipurush.
Mahesh Babu is currently working on his upcoming film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, directed by Parasuram. The film has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
