Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj contracts Covid-19

Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj is the latest celebrity to test positive for the novel coronavirus. The director confirmed the news in a social media post. He shared the news on Monday evening saying that he has been admitted to a private hospital.

“Writing this to inform all my friends, family and well-wishers that I have tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted in a private hospital where I’m being taken good care of. Will be back soon and stronger!” Lokesh tweeted.

Lokesh Kanagaraj shot to fame with the popular Karthi starrer Tamil film Kaithi. The film has actors like Narain and Arjun Das playing supporting roles.

However, the director is best known for helming the Thalapathy Vijay-Vijay Sethupathy starrer Master. It was released on January 13, 2021, and was the first big movie to release in theatres after the COVID-19 pandemic.
