Popular Tamil actor Vivek has been hospitalised after complaining of chest pain on April 16, Friday. He has been admitted to the intensive care unit of SIMS Hospital in Chennai, and his condition is critical.
As per reports, the veteran actor had fainted at home and his family members rushed him to the hospital. He is said to have suffered a heart attack. Vivek has been placed on ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation). The hospital will share a statement regarding the actor’s health in a few hours.
Reports reveal that Vivek got vaccinated against the novel coronavirus yesterday at Omandurar government hospital. Rather than going to a private hospital, he got vaccinated at a government hospital to spread awareness.
On the professional front, Vivek was last seen in Dharala Prabhu, the Tamil remake of the Hindi film Vicky Donor. He is also part of Shankar’s upcoming film Indian 2, which stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
