Has Jagan given up on Andhra Pradesh?

Pradesh is also facing the wrath of the virus, more so than Telangana. While the state government, headed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is constantly advertising and marketing that it is providing the people of the state with the best healthcare and free treatment, the real picture is far from any of that.

In a video that is now getting viral on social media, we can see senior leaders belonging to the YSRCP, discussing how Jagan seems to have given up on Andhra Pradesh and its people. Pilli Subhash Chandrabose, Margani Bharath, Akula Satyanarayana and others can be seen talking in this video, about the situation of the second wave in the state. They discussed that people are being charged with Rs. 30,000 to discharge the body of a person who died due to coronavirus, and that Rs. 12,000 is being charged toward conducting the last rites of the person.

MP Pilli Subhash Chandrabose launched a Last Rite vehicle in Rajahmundry two days ago, and Margani Bharath and Akula Satyanarayana were also part of this inaugural, along with other members of the party. The discussion they had about Jagan and him giving up on the state seems to be from when they were relaxing, either before the inaugural or after it. Whenever the discussion took place, it looks as though the senior YSRCP leaders discussed frankly, with no filters, thinking that there were no cameras.

Now that the video is trending, it wouldn’t come as a shock if the very people in the video call the video a morphed one. We have seen a very similar issue take place with TDP member Devineni Uma, who is now facing CID charges, on account of allegedly morphing a video of Jagan’s, to his advantage. Given that these leaders are bound to support their party and their CM in public, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if some TDP member or social media person would be blamed for this viral video, and it wouldn’t also be shocking if CID cases were filed against whoever the scapegoat is.
