Fans of Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal, popularly known as Laletten have been eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming flick ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ which is being made on a scale of magnum opus.
Making fans wait for the release date, the makers have dropped first look posters of talented beauty Keerthy Suresh. The pictures unveiled by the makers are taking the internet by storm.
Keerthy Suresh looks stunning in a Malayali look, draped in a yellow saree with jewelry, as the film is a period drama. Her red color Bindi adds more elegance to her gracious look.
Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the character role Aarcha. Going an extra mile to play the role, the actress underwent training sessions of playing Veena, as the character he plays is well versed with traditional music.
Marakkar is loosely based on the story of Kunjali Marakkar IV, who served as naval commander of the Zamorin of Calicut, who had successfully defended the Malabar Coast from Portuguese invasion.
Ace filmmaker Priyadarshan is helming the project. The magnum opus has an ensemble cast of Manju Warrier, Suniel Shetty, Keerthi Suresh, Arjun Sarja, Suhasini, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Mukesh, Pranav Mohanlal, and Kalyani Priyadarshan.
‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ is bankrolled by ashirvad Cinemas with Moonshot Entertainments and Confident Group with a huge budget of Rs 100 crore, making it the most expensive film ever made in Mollywood.
