SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus ‘RRR‘ is in the news ever since the film was announced. Due to the pandemic, the shooting of the film has been delayed and the release date was changed accordingly.
We know the situations turned unfavourable for makers to continue the shootings during the second wave. With time closing to the previously announced date, October 13th, 2021, the team is likely to postpone the release to either January 2022 or Summer 2022. We can expect an official word on this in the coming months. Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release a new poster of the film on May 20, which happens to be Jr NTR’s birthday.
As there is a significant possibility of RRR moving to 2022, the makers of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, Pushpa, are eyeing to release the film on October 13th, 2021. Initially, the film was slated to hit the theatres on 13th August, but the makers have postponed it, due to pending schedules. The clarity on the Pushpa release date will come only after Rajamouli’s RRR opts for next year’s release.
