It is well known that Kartik Aaryan had been expelled from Karan Johar’s upcoming production Dostana 2. Now, a little birdie from the industry reveals that the actor opted to forgo another film.
If sources are to be relied upon, then Kartik Aaryan has quitted ‘Red Chillies’ film that was being helmed by Ajay Bahl. Tentatively titled Goodbye Freddie, the unusual rom com drama that stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead.
Interestingly, the social comedy film produced by Shahrukh Khan, which was announced a while earlier was all set to begin its 30-40 day shoot in a couple of months. Nonetheless, with Kartik relinquishing the project, makers are in fact going to rope in other suitable actor. Commenting on Kartik’s exit, a credible source disclosed that though Karthik had been part of the project but he exited as few creative differences creeped in with his director Ajay Bahl.
It was known that Kartik was unimpressed with the developed script as it was quite different from what was narrated to him as a basic one-liner plot. He reportedly returned 2 cr of the signing amount.
