Bandla Ganesh comments on Rajamouli and Prabhas

With Prakash Raj contesting for the presidency in the upcoming Movie Artists Association elections, the issue of local and non-local has started in Tollywood. Today, Prakash Raj has introduced his panel members in a Press Meet. During the press meet, Bandla Ganesh, who is also part of PR’s panel, has made some interesting comments about this non-local issue.

Bandla Ganesh said that Prakash Raj is in the Telugu film industry for over 23 years and he questioned how one can call him non-local. He further said that the versatile actor owns land in Shadnagar and he adopted a village and is doing a lot of charity works. He asked the people who criticize Prakash Raj to visit the village and see the amount of development work he had done. In the case of Prakash Raj, it is irrelevant to bring up the issue of local and non-local.

He even quoted an example of Prabhas and Rajamouli, who are making Pan India films. The Baahubali actor, who is from Hyderabad, is a national star today. Rajamouli is now dominating the entire Indian cinema. In this case, are they not non-local to other movie industries, Bandla asked.
