BJP state president Somu Veerraju, who held the YSRC government responsible for the communal clashes in AP, said the mentality of Britishers and AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the same. He condemned the ruling party leaders, who had attacked the Scheduled Caste people in Tripuranthakam of Prakasam district for not converting their religion.
The BJP today called for a statewide agitation against the remarks made by Yemmiganur MLA on the cow-slaughter ban. Somu Veerraju, who participated in the dharna held in Vijayawada as part of this, said that the BJP will not ignore the forced conversion. He alleged that Jagan’s government is acting against Hindu Dharma. He also warned of increasing agitation if the government cannot stop communal politics and the indiscriminate killing of cows.
Somu Veerraju criticised that the YSRCP government is not even in a condition to allocate Rs 2,000 crore for road development in the state. He mentioned about Jagan’s much-hyped Navaratna schemes and reminded that centre has provided hundred’s of schemes to the people.
