“What’s wrong if MAA elections are unanimous?” Naresh asks

Veteran actor Naresh, the current president of ‘MAA’, has said that he has not yet decided who he will support in the upcoming Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) elections. He opined that it would not be appropriate to comment on the matter as he is currently in the presidency.
In a recent interview with a television channel, Naresh revealed many things. The veteran actor said Mega brother Naga Babu’s comments on MAA had hurt him.
“It is not wrong to express their feelings. The disciplinary committee will take action against those who make comments on MAA. In the past, Naga Babu supported Rajendra Prasad and Shivaji Raja. After that, he supported our panel. Despite some differences, we all walked together,” Naresh said.
The ace actor further added that he worked hard for MAA welfare. “Health insurance is provided for members of the association. In case of deaths, insurance of Rs 3 lakhs was provided to 16 members within 24 hours. We deposited Rs 14 lakh in MAA account to assist in the lockdown period,” he said.
Naresh has strongly expressed that he will win the next elections with a good majority if he takes part in it. The actor, however, said that he would not compete to give a chance to the newcomers and that the youth needed to come forward. He also expressed that what’s wrong if MAA president be elected unanimously.
