For those who don’t already know, Nithiin’s upcoming film, Maestro is heading for direct to digital release. Disney+ Hotstar is said to have bagged the direct OTT rights of the film. The makers have started promoting the film already and the second song from the audio album, Vennello dropped earlier yesterday.
For some odd reason, the makers of Maestro are ignoring Tamannaah, who plays an important role in the film. They haven’t released any promotional material featuring Tamannaah till now.Well, Tamannnah plays a pivotal role in Maestro. In fact, the main narrative revolves around her murder mystery. She reprises Tabu’s role from the original. Moreover, Tamannaah is a noted face for Telugu audiences.
However, the makers of Maestro are, strangely enough, not promoting Tamannaah’s presence in the film in any which way. The exact reason behind their decision is unknown for now.Perhaps, the makers have taken the promotional campaign on a lighter note, given the fact that they have sold off the direct to digital rights. They wouldn’t bother about the pre-release buzz too much now. This could possibly be one of the reasons behind their subdued promotions.
