‘Akhanda’ is one of the most-awaited projects in Tollywood right now. This mass masala entertainer marks the return of the super hit Balayya-Boyapati combo who gave blockbusters like ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’. With Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new look catching the attention of many, the expectations have skyrocketed on this flick and fans can’t wait to watch it on the big screens. The film was supposed to release on 28th May but the second lockdown forced the makers to postpone the film.
After restarting the production, the entire day worked very hard and the film has finally been wrapped up. Action composer Stun Shiva took to social media and posted a few pictures where a couple of his team members along with director Boyapati Sreenu are seen getting drenched in the rain. They are looking very happy and confident on the output. He wrote, “#akhanda is wrapped…the whole unit was a family…the interval, pre climax and climax along with other action sequences which we shot were 80+ days… #balakrishna @BoyapatiSrinu #akhanda.”
This is sending the fans into a tizzy as they can expect Balakrishna film during the Dusshera or Diwali season. This action entertainer will have a lot of fight sequences that please the fans of Balakrishna along with some trademark dialogues that will bring the whistles in theatres. There are a lot of attractions and assets in this film as per the sources close to the team. While the teaser definitely satisfied the fans, it is to be seen if ‘Akhanda’ ends up as a hattrick in Balayya-Boyapati or not.
Miryala Ravinder Reddy is producing ‘Akhanda’ on his ‘Dwaraka Creations’ banner while young and glamorous beauty Pragya Jaiswal will be seen as the heroine. Hero Srikanth and Jagapathi Babu will be playing crucial roles while star composer Thaman is taking care of the music. C Ram Prasad is the cinematographer while ‘Akhanda’ will be edited by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao.
Balakrishna is in need of a big hit as his previous films like ‘Paisa Vasool’, ‘NTR’ biopic (Two Parts) and ‘Ruler’ turned out to be disasters. Even Boyapati is making this film on the back of a flop like ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. Let us wait and see how ‘Akhanda’ turns out.
