Chandrababu phones Senior MLA Gorantla Butchaiah

TDP senior leader, former minister, MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary is all set to quit Telugu Desam Party and his MLA post. The veteran leader officially announced that he will resign from the party on August 25.

However, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who is aware of the matter, phoned Butchaiah Chowdary last night and discussed various issues on the phone call, which lasted for more than half an hour.

Chandrababu assured Butchaiah that he would come and meet the latter next week and resolve all the issues. However, the senior legislator announced his resignation within 24 hours.

As per reports, Butchaiah complained about some TDP leaders to CBN, claiming that they are disrespecting and insulting him.
