The Telangana government on Wednesday transferred VC Sajjanar, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner, and appointed him as the Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC).
Sajjanar has filled the post, which has been vacant since 2019 after the retirement of then MD, GV Ramana Rao. Also, he completed three years as Police Commissioner for Cyberabad and was recently promoted as Additional Director General of Police.
The state government appointed Stephen Raveendra IPS as the Cyberabad Police Commissioner. He is a 1999-batch IPS officer and was serving as Inspector General of West Zone.
It is worth mentioning that a couple of years ago, Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted Stephen Raveendra to join the Andhra Pradesh force as the state Intelligence chief. However, it couldn’t be possible, as his inter-cadre deputation was not cleared
