Despite all the desperate attempts like the Dalit Bandhu etc, BJP candidate Eatala Rajender appears to be still enjoying an edge in Huzurabad. Though the election notification has not been issued as yet, the ruling TRS is pulling all stops to defeat Eatala Rajender. However, several surveys commissioned in recent times have shown that Eatala still enjoys an edge.
Sources say that even surveys commissioned by the ruling party are showing that there is considerable sympathy for Eatala. However, the positive factor for the TRS is that the gap between Eatala and the TRS is narrowing. Delay in issuing of the notification for the bypoll can gradually reduce the edge that the BJP is enjoying as of now. Sources say that Eatala knows the ways of the TRS and is able to counter its strategies effectively.
For the past four days, the TRS has been going round the town telling the voters that Eatala can do nothing for them as he would be an opposition MLA. To this, Eatala replied that some much of welfare activity was happening and so many schemes were being launched only because Eataa has resigned. He said his resignation as made KCR come out of his farm house. He said that for the first ever time, KCR is chanting the Jai Bheem slogan. Eatala said that if he gets re-elected, there would be a drastic change in KCR and that he would begin meeting people.
Eatala and his team of workers are confident that despite all these attempts, the TRS would not be able to win the bypolls. They feel that the public mood is in their favour and that their victory was a foregone conclusion.
