Akhil’s MEB passes Censor hurdle, reconfirms release date

Akhil Akkineni’s much-awaited film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ is all set to hit the screens on October 15. The makers today announced that the film has completed its censor formalities and the censor board has cleared it with the U/A certificate.

Directed by Bommarillu Baskar, Most Eligible Bachelor is a romantic drama. The film marks the fifth outing of Akhil after four continuous disappointments at the box office. The young actor is banking on this to give him the much-needed break.

Akhil is playing the role of an NRI, while Pooja will be seen playing a stand-up comedian. Producer Allu Aravind is producing the movie under his home banner GA2 Pictures.

Most Eligible Bachelor also features Eesha Rebba, Aamani, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, among others. Cinematographer Pradeesh Varma, editor Marthand K Venkatesh and composer Gopi Sundar form the technical crew.
