Director SS Rajamouli is obviously happy after Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak opted out of the Sankranthi race. It is known that Superstar Mahesh Babu was the first person to move out from Pongal season and gave the much-needed spot to RRR to have a smooth run at the box office. Now, Pawan Kalyan has done the same for the better interests of the industry.
Rajamouli, who acknowledged the support of the actors and filmmakers, took to Twitter to thank them for paving a way for RRR in the busiest season for Cinema.
“@urstrulyMahesh was the one who took the initiative in decluttering the Pongal releases… Even though #SarkaruVaariPaata was a perfect Pongal film, he moved it to summer and created a healthy atmosphere. Thanks to my Hero and also to the entire team at @MythriOfficial,” tweeted Rajamouli.
Replying to Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu wrote, “Always said it sir… The kind of films you make deserve all the love and respect! Can’t wait for RRR.”
For the unversed, Mahesh Babu will next join hands with Rajamouli for a big budget pan-India film, which will start rolling next year.
