Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday tested positive for Covid-19. The CM said that he has mild symptoms and requested everyone who came in contact with him in the last few days to get tested.
“I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch wid me in last few days, kindly isolate urself and get urself tested,” Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
As per reports, the Delhi CM has been moving to the election-bound states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Goa to review AAP’s poll preparation. He attended rallies and events in Lucknow, Dehradoon, Amritsar, Patiala, and Chandigarh.
Meanwhile, Delhi reported 4,099 fresh Coronavirus cases on Monday with a positivity rate of 6.46%. One more person died due to the novel virus while 1,509 have recovered. The active cases in the city have climbed to 10,986 and the total tally of the Coronavirus-19 cases now stands at 14,58,220.
