It is quite evident that Bollywood film fraternity is in awe of Allu Arjun’s recent theatrical outing, Pushpa: The Rise. The film presently premiered on Amazon Prime Video and many Bollywood celebrities appear to have watched the film at the comfort of their homes. The fact that Bollywood celebs have been heaping praises on Pushpa: The Rise soon after its Amazon Prime premieres proves the same. Now, another Bollywood personality has taken it to Twitter to speak highly of the film.
Kunal Kohli, a noted Indian filmmaker tweeted “@alluarjun just saw #PushpaTheRise on @PrimeVideoIN if it wasn’t for covid you’d probably do 200+ in Hindi alone. This is without increased ticket prices. What a film. What a hero/star/actor you are. Mard of a performance. The Fight with the hood on was beyond spectacular.”
“@alluarjun A One man show, like the solo films of @SrBachchan as the angry young man. Mard. Son. Friend. Lover. Tactician. Hero. All rolled into one character, in an award winning performance. Beyond cool. Restrained action & dance making it, new & brilliant” Kohli tweeted. It is evident that he is in awe of the Allu Arjun starrer. His tweets are now going viral on social media.
Notably, Arjun Kapoor had recently tweeted “”Pushpa is not a film. It’s an experience, a juggernaut of attitude intensity and coolness put together in one smooth poetic motion picture…. @alluarjunonline for me was always Arya all these years & as a fan to see him from Arya to Pushpa was just amazing… Pushpa isn’t a flower it’s fire The fire of his eyes burning on the big screen.”
Janhvi Kapoor watched Pushpa on Amazon Prime and she then tweeted “Allu Arjun is the coolest man. Blown away by Pushpa.” She too seems to have fallen in love with the Allu Arjun starrer now.
Pushpa: The Rise has gotten a surprisingly big reach in the Hindi circuit and it has now set the stage for the second installment of the franchise, Pushpa: The Rule.
Also, interestingly enough, the mixed reviews have not shown any effect on Pushpa: The Rise’s box office performance in the regional and also the pan-India market.
