President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party for the state of Andhra Pradesh Somu Veerraju, who has been a vocal supporter of the state employees had once again extended his support to them and condemned the way the Police behaved with the employees.
The BJP leader had come down severely on the cops and asked how can the employees be arrested when they were protesting for their rightful demands. The cops are behaving like aides of the government and forgetting the fact that they are also the employees, he said.
Once again supporting the employees, Somu Veerraju had appealed to the cops that they should also join the force and take part in the protests as the PRC announced by the government also applies for the Police personnel.
The employees have called for the Chalo Vijayawada rally today. But the employees coming for the rally were arrested by the cops. Special check posts were set up by the cops to stop the employees from reaching the protest spot.
The employees are not happy with the recommendations announced by the Andhra Pradesh government in the PRC. Saying that the pay scales offered by the PRC will not benefit that the employees are demanding the callback of the PRC.
