Bollywood star actress Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah’s upcoming film Jalsa is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime on March 18. The makers today unveiled the trailer of the Amazon Prime Video film, which promises a gritty crime drama.
The fascinating story revolves around the killing of a young girl, who is the daughter of Shefali Shah and Vidya plays a journalist who is looking into the death story of the victim.
The almost 2-minute video opens with a girl being chased by an unidentified man but ends up being hit by a car. Shefali Shah refuses to accept her daughter’s untimely death and tries to seek justice for her while Vidya takes a keen interest in the same.
Directed by Suresh Triveni of Tumhari Sulu fame, Jalsa is produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The film also stars Manav Kaul, Iqbal Khan, Rohini Hattangady, Srikant Mohan, Vidhatri Bandi, Shafeen Patel and Surya Kasibhatla in pivotal roles.
