It’s Bhuma vs Bhuma in Kurnool

The famed Bhuma family, which rode like a colossus in Allagadda and Nandyal region for decades, is now set for a split. The Bhumas are now divided and are fighting one against the other. Former minister Akhilapriya’s cousin Bhuma Kishore Reddy has now turned against her and has been attacking her in a manner that would give blushes to even opposition leaders.

Recently, there was a land dispute in Allagadda. During the road widening, allegations abounded that Akhilapriya, her husband Bhargava Ram and brother Jagad Vikhyat Reddy resorted to large-scale misappropriation. Cases were booked against Bhargava Ram and Akhilapriya’s personal assistant Ashok was taken into custody. Bhuma Akhilapriya went to the police station to get Ashok released.

Now, Bhuma Nagireddy’s brother Bhaskar Reddy and BJP leader Bhuma Kishore Reddy entered the scene and made several serious allegations against Bhuma Akhilapriya. Sources say that Kishore Reddy, who is currently in the BJP, wants to fight from Allagadda on TDP ticket. Hence, he has intensified his attack on her. He feels that Akhila Priya already has several cases against her and the TDP wants a new face. So, he wants to occupy her seat and contest from her seat in the 2024 elections.

As a result, the Bhuma family is now fighting with itself. Bhuma Akhilapriya, husband Bhargava Ram and brother Jagad Vikhyat are on one side, while Bhaskar Reddy and Kishore Reddy are on the other side. It remains to be seen how the family drama will shape up TDP politics in this region.
