Russia has once again proved its strong position in the world with the ongoing war with Ukraine. Despite the fellow superpower nations United States and intergovernmental military alliance North Atlantic Treaty Organization(NATO) demanding Russia to pull back its forces, Russia is playing a deaf ear to such demands and proposals.
Ever Since the war started the United States has been supporting war-hit Ukraine and condemning the actions of Russia. Even with multiple demands placed by the United States and US President Joe Biden not working, America is attacking India. Putting pressure on India for not speaking up against Russia, Joe Biden had dubbed India’s response as “shaky” compared to the NATO nations.
Supporting NATO nations is not bad, but making such comments against a nation like India is not appreciable. It looks like Joe Biden had forgotten what India had done to many nations when the Covid had hit the world. When the US was severely hit with the Covid, India came forward to help the US. When other nations were going through a tough period, India extended its help to many nations including America.
Despite being an underdeveloped nation, India came to the rescue of many nations, including the poor nations. Even the World Health Organization(WHO) lauded the efforts of India and asked the other nations to take a cue from India.
If not for India’s help, the situation in the United States would have been much worse. If we look into history, India never waged a war against any country. Despite facing constant provocations from Pakistan, India did not attack Pakistan.
Looking at the nature of America, the nation waged war within and outside the nation as well. Starting with the 17th century, history goes on. The recent Afghanistan issue tells us how the United States changes its stand. The situation of Afghanistan changed at once when the US decided to pull back the NATO forces.
Before the Presidential elections in the US, Joe Biden was dubbed as a strong leader who can make the United States prosper further. Proving this wrong, Joe Biden had taken a decision to call back the forces, which goes down as a historical blunder.
Even the ongoing Ukraine crisis proves the same point about how weak the United States is in the world picture. Before the war, the United States said they are with Ukraine and they stand in solidarity with the European nation.
The United States, which is slamming the other nations for buying crude oil from Russia, is forgetting the fact that it is the United States which is behind the rise in the prices of essential commodities.
