Will there be stern action against some dissidents in the Telangana BJP soon? Yes, say sources close to the BJP in Telangana. According to them, Bandi Sanjay is planning to initiate action against some leaders, who are underperforming.
According to sources, Bandi Sanjay is unhappy with several leaders, who are not doing any leg work. He is said to be disappointed with the performance of the party affiliates, fronts and other wings. The party has taken up a serious review of the functioning of these units. On many occasions, these wings are working separately from the main unit.
Several leaders are said to be quite inactive and beyond attending a couple of meetings, they are practically doing nothing. Many of these leaders are not even sending monthly reports of the party programmes. In several places, the committees were found to be only on paper. Many of the names in the list are not even aware that they have been made members.
Bandi Sanjay has reportedly warned several district presidents of serious action if they did not change their ways. He said that those who work hard would be suitably rewarded. According to sources, he is all set to change at least 10 district presidents. Similar action is being taken against non-functional presidents in Tamil Nadu. Sanjay said he too would initiate similar action.
