Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan today, to discuss a variety of issues, including the shuffling of the cabinet. Jagan is said to have explained the need for a swearing-in ceremony for the new cabinet ministers and is said to have requested him to the swearing-in ceremony set to take place on April 11th.
The CM is also expected to send the resignations of the current cabinet members, who will resign on Thursday, April 7th. The CM has also explained to the Governor about the new districts and the proposal to create a new district for the Scheduled Tribes, with either Polavaram or Rampachodavaram as the headquarters of the new, 27th district.
Furthermore, the CM is said to have explained the reason behind his Delhi visit, and the purpose of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah, along with several others. He is also said to have requested the Governor, who has close ties with Union Ministers, to take to the notice of the Central government, the various issues of Andhra Pradesh.
