This made him the most bankable star in Kollywood and producers are showing interest to sign him, thanks to his consecutive commercial hits. Vijay is awaiting his upcoming film Beast.
Ahead of the release, the star hero and the makers of Beast received a big shock as a Muslim Body is reportedly hurt by the film and wanted a ban on the film in Tamil Nadu. The leaders of the Muslim Body are raising their concerns over the film and demanding that the film should be banned.
As per the media reports, the Tamil Nadu Muslim League party is having a few reservations about the film and they are raising a demand that the film should be banned. A press release saying the same was issued in the name of one Mustafa, the leader of the party.
It has been widely reported that the Muslim League Party had written to Tamil Nadu Home Secretary SK Prabhakar raising severe objections to the way Muslims were portrayed in the film.
The party had alleged that Muslims were shown as extremists in the film which is not true and we are hurt by this. Unhappy with this, they are demanding that the Vijay starrer should be banned in Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, Beast received a similar shock as the Kuwait government had reportedly decided to ban the film. The objectionable portrayal of Muslims is said to be the reason behind the shocking decision.
Beast is the much-awaited film coming from Vijay. Since its announcement, the expectations are high and the teaser and trailer took the expectations to the next level. Vijay will be seen as a spy in the film. When the film was gearing up to hit the screen on the 13th of this month, it received two back-to-back shocks.
Beast is directed by Nelson, while the leading Production House Sun Pictures bankrolled it. Happening beauty Pooja Hegde is playing the leading lady. Beast has an ensemble cast of Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu,Redin Kingsley, and others.
