The discussion of the ruse in the drug abuse had started once again after the Banjara Hills Rave party. After the party was busted it was alleged that the names of the people who hail from big backgrounds were saved by not letting their names out. The opposition party leaders are targeting the Telangana government on the same.
Now Hyderabad MP and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi joined the list and targeted the government on the same issue. He said that the law is the same for everyone and rich kids are not an exemption from this.
Reacting to the issue, Owaisi said that it is unfortunate that Cocaine was found at the party. Expressing his shock over no arrests in the case, Owaisi said that the law should be applied equally to rich and poor. He said that the rich kids were released.
“Rule of law is supreme Art 13 & it is very unfortunate that cocaine was found in this “Rave party” and all offspring’s of Rich kids where released not a single arrest apart from the owner of the place Law should be applied equally to poor & rich @CPHydCity @KTRTRS,” the Hyd MP tweeted.
His tweet is believed to be a dig at the Telangana government after AIMIM Corporator was arrested hours after he had an argument with a cop. The video of the AIMIM Corporator having an argument and abusing him went viral. He was arrested by the cops.
Hours before making this tweet, he asked why the rich kids who were caught in the rave party were not arrested by the Police department. When TRS leader Jagan Patimeedi, who heads the Telangana State Technology Services Ltd (TSTS) said that the guilty will not be spared even if he is a Corporator, Owaisi raised the Banjara Hills rave party topic.
“Oh fantastic didn’t knew that arrest only when “proven guilty “after A Shah we see a new understanding of CRPC & IPC and NDPS Rich kids who city police didn’t arrest because of this new Jurisprudence must be feeling HIGH,” Owaisi tweeted replying to TRS leader’s tweet on the Corporator issue.
