Like him or lump him, but evangelist-politician KA Paul takes himself quite seriously. He is seen by the Telugu media mostly as a TRP giver and an entertainer. But, it appears Union Home Minister and BJP strongman Amit Shah takes him quite seriously. He managed to secure an audience with Amit Shah the other day. This showed his clout and come to think of it, he got an appointment with Amit Shah at a time when neither Chandrababu Naidu nor KCR are able to meet him.
The other day, he met Amit Shah and explained about how he was attacked by the TRS goons. He explained to Amit Shah how the TRS was trying to silence any opposition in the state. He said that together, KCR and KTR have swindled several lakhs of crores of rupees, he reportedly told Amit Shah. He said that there was no law and order in Telangana under the TRS government.
KA Paul told the media persons that the Telangana DGP did not give him an appointment despite several requests. But Amit Shah gave him time as soon as he asked for it. He further said that Amit Shah advised him to meet Prime Minister Modi. This only means that KA Paul would soon meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
KA Paul often claims that he had met the heads of several states. He also claims to have mediated between several warring nations and governments. All these are usually taken with a pinch of salt. But, the way he secured Amit Shah’s appointment shows how deep and how wide his connections are.
