Telangana Labour Minister Malla Reddy faced the ire of the people at a public meeting in Ghatkesar last evening. The meeting, which was aimed at setting up the Reddy Corporation, was attended by leaders and activists of various parties.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Malla Reddy described the welfare schemes being implemented by the TRS government and praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Some members at the meeting interrupted the minister’s speech and raised slogans against him. They demanded the formation of the Reddy Corporation with Rs 5,000 crore.
Malla Reddy was forced to leave the venue after the crowd started hurling chairs and stones at the minister. He had to finish his speech abruptly and rush out of the venue. The people also chased the vehicle of Mr Reddy and threw stones at his convoy.
